I'm down 1 pound this week. I'm happy that I am down and that I met my goal. I'm not overly excited because I was up 2 pounds last week, so technically I'm still up one. It's a long road to healthy, so I'll take the pound.
Today I did kickboxing and then I ran a mile. It was a great workout. Tomorrow I'm meeting Mandee at 7 for cardio. I know I need to get my butt out of bed in the morning if I'm going to meet my goals.
Amen, sister. :) Keep up the great work!
ReplyDeleteGreat job, Sarah! Doesn't it just feel good to be stronger? You have to be 'feeling' better.. I know that I do when I exercise regularly. I haven't been in ages but after all that moving firewood this weekend I've been exercising every day and despite that the scale doesn't move as quickly, the mental and physical benefits are almost immediate. It just feels good to be stronger.
ReplyDeleteIt definitely IS a long road to healthy -- and keep in mind that despite that you're not at what you think your 'ideal' weight is... you are a hell of a lot healthier with all this hard work. LOTS more than many super thin people who don't exercise.
This time of year it gets harder and harder for me to get up in the mornings... it's going to be colder and darker... that is one of my biggest challenges.
